Justin M. Block is a past president Of the Suffolk County Bar Association, He is a member Of the Grievance Committee for the Tenth Judicial District and has chaired numerous committees for the Suffolk County Bar Association, including Nominating, Professional Ethics and Civility and Fee Dispute Arbitration. as well as serving on the Judicial Screening Committee and District Court committees, He is a member Of the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association and has also served as a member of the House of Delegates and Nominating Committees of that organization. He graduated from Comell Universlty in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science from the School Of Industrial and Lat»r Relations, and earned his JD from Hofstra University School 01 Law in 1988. the same year he was admitted to the New York State bar. In addition to the New York State courts, he is admitted in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts. He has a general practice, ranging from criminal and traffic matters to Wills to commercial and residential real estate, as well as complex civil and comtnercial litigation. He is also the host of the Suffolk County Bar Association Fireside Chats In the community. he has served as President of Hauppauge Rotary. Chairman Of the Board of the American Heart Association. Suffolk County and Long Island Regions. and Vice Chairman of the Board Of the Juvenile Diabetes Association. He and his wife, Sheila, have been married for nearly thirteen years and they have a son, Cooper.
