Joseph G. Nemeth, Jr. received his Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School and has been practicing law since 1974. After working in New York City for Shearman & Sterling, Lever Brothers Company and Unilever, he moved to Westhampton.  Since moving to the East End of Long Island, Joe’s practice has concentrated in the area of Real Estate Transactions and Wills and Trusts. With respect to real estate, Joe represents clients in the purchase, sale and lease of real property, both residential and commercial, many of which properties are located on the East End of Long Island, particularly the well-known Hamptons region.  Joe also represents clients in transactional matters involving apartment buildings, coops and condos. In the course of representing investors Joe will assist clients in structuring transactions as 1031 Exchanges.  Joe works closely with the local realtors and views the consummation or closing of a real estate transaction as a team effort to resolve any issues that surface prior to closing so that the result is a smooth and successful conclusion for his clients.
